Another short walk today, around 15 minutes. I walk gently and moderately, so not too much exercise, but it really helps my mood. I've had some panic and anxiety lately over all this teeth stuff, but walking helps. Also, spending time with our friends yesterday was wonderful, and I felt so much better.
I did go in to my crown dentist today about my teeth, I was worried they weren't aligned right. He explained everything, even showed me with a mirror how my teeth are meeting just fine. They have you bite on blue ink paper, and it shows on the tooth where you are biting, and I could see it in the mirror. It was such a reassurance. I think the TMJ specialist is right in what she is saying, my mouth is overly irritated and will take time to heal. Most of the pain is in the same spot, the extraction site where that tooth was before being pulled. The mouth guard will help distribute the force evenly on my teeth and will help it heal. The problem is that she doesn't communicate well, and I don't understand what is happening, and I question what she's saying. Her bedside manner is terrible! I thanked the crown dentist this morning for explaining it so well. I guess I'm one of those people who need to understand what is going on to trust their treatment, especially when I'm in pain. On a positive note, I'm taking less pain reliever than in the past, so I'm hopeful it is healing some. My appointment for adjusting my mouth guard is this afternoon. Hopefully, it will be right this time!
wishiwasinhawaii, it was nice to get away! Although, my allergies acted up, something was blooming. This town is in the mountains, so completely different scenery with pine trees and forests. We even saw moose crossing the road. It was about 10-15 degrees cooler than Phoenix.
Donna, I'm glad you were able to skip going in yesterday. And yay for a sunny day, I hope you get your dog walk in.
