Hi Everyone,

I did something a little different this morning:

Ellen - Standing Stretch - this is her new workout for this month - the title says it all. I enjoyed it - just 15 min...

Body Groove - Fit - This one was lead by Heather, not Misty - it was 20 minutes and a little faster pace than Misty's workouts.

It was nice for a change of pace.

Glad you could get away Sherry!

Waves, Pam, wishiwasinawaii and Liz!

I dodged the bullet again about going into the office- what was to be an in person meeting tomorrow has been cancelled. Honestly, at this point, I feel we should just say we are all remote all the time.

Hope everyone has a good day!

Donna

Today was WS1 Total Body Training and yesterday I did a CS season 14 episode before the Easter festivities with the family. Someone on GD posted that CS was giving free access for the weekend, which was great.

Donna, It's nice your in the office meeting keeps getting cancelled. I hope you get to stay home permanently. I didn't go in last week because my boss was thankfully on vacation. This week I'm going to go in on Friday. It's so ridiculous. I drive there, meet with her for a half hour to an hour, then I go home, lol. So I'm only there maybe a few hours. The only positive is there are some good restaurants in that area so I can pick up food for the weekend.

Sherry, It's nice you were able to get away. I really need a change of scenery. I haven't been anywhere in such a long time.

Waves!

Hi Everyone,

I haven't been very motivated lately to workout - but this morning I managed:

Ellen - Super Duper Sculpt - I do like this one quite a bit - it is a bit more intense than some of her other workouts and it more reminiscent of her Studio Series. Didn't love the planks at the end, but I did them anyway - at my own pace! Easy enough to skip though!

Hopefully today will not be too bad at work. The sun is shining at least and I should get out to walk the dog!

wishiwasinhawaii - I am very happy to not have to go in today - I just don't see the point, I get nothing done it disrupts everything! I would rather work the extra hours I work than go into the office regularly -the whole process of getting dressed up, rushing, sitting in traffic, etc. just stresses me out.

Hope everyone has a good day!

Another short walk today, around 15 minutes. I walk gently and moderately, so not too much exercise, but it really helps my mood. I've had some panic and anxiety lately over all this teeth stuff, but walking helps. Also, spending time with our friends yesterday was wonderful, and I felt so much better.

I did go in to my crown dentist today about my teeth, I was worried they weren't aligned right. He explained everything, even showed me with a mirror how my teeth are meeting just fine. They have you bite on blue ink paper, and it shows on the tooth where you are biting, and I could see it in the mirror. It was such a reassurance. I think the TMJ specialist is right in what she is saying, my mouth is overly irritated and will take time to heal. Most of the pain is in the same spot, the extraction site where that tooth was before being pulled. The mouth guard will help distribute the force evenly on my teeth and will help it heal. The problem is that she doesn't communicate well, and I don't understand what is happening, and I question what she's saying. Her bedside manner is terrible! I thanked the crown dentist this morning for explaining it so well. I guess I'm one of those people who need to understand what is going on to trust their treatment, especially when I'm in pain. On a positive note, I'm taking less pain reliever than in the past, so I'm hopeful it is healing some. My appointment for adjusting my mouth guard is this afternoon. Hopefully, it will be right this time!

wishiwasinhawaii, it was nice to get away! Although, my allergies acted up, something was blooming. This town is in the mountains, so completely different scenery with pine trees and forests. We even saw moose crossing the road. It was about 10-15 degrees cooler than Phoenix.

Donna, I'm glad you were able to skip going in yesterday. And yay for a sunny day, I hope you get your dog walk in.

Hi Ladies,

I had an outdoor hike scheduled for today, but we had strong winds and some rain this morning, so it was cancelled. Instead I got on the TM to do a walk in Scotland with Graham McTavish and a hike in Wales with Alex Gregory. Up too early so didn't feel like it...but I did it anyway.

Sherry, glad things went well with the dentist today.

Donna, nice to see you doing a few of Ellen's workouts lately. Her Studio series are some of my favorites, but haven't done any of her stuff in a long while.

wishiwasinhawaii, nice to see you feeling the love for Jessica lately! Excited for the new ones...as we all must be!

waves to liz!!!

I took a longer walk today, around a mile and a half. I don't walk to fast, so it took me around 30 minutes. I also did some housework. I wore myself out a bit, I'm low energy. I guess my mouth is healing. Still a bit painful, but much better. The first night with the mouth guard went well, I think it's really helping. I just have to get my permanent crowns next Tuesday, and I will be done for while, crossing my fingers!

Pam, good job getting your walk in.

Donna, I guess you're having a busy day. I hope everything went well.

Hi Ladies,

Yesterday I did a nice hike in Dartmouth, MA with a friend. It was a nice grassy marsh and woodlands with boardwalks over the waterways and marshes. There were a number of families there with young children that must be on Spring break this week!

Today I did two hikes in Scotland on the TM with Graham. One with a nice waterfall at the base of Ben Nevis and another along the canal on the way to Ft. William. The scenery in Scotland is some of my favorite and I hope to visit one day. The woods are so magical with all the greenery and moss. I would imagine Ireland would be much of the same and very beautiful, also.

Up too early today and the day before. Sleepy. Now my mouth guard keeps falling out during the night and I discover I'm sleeping on it when I wake up. I guess a custom one might prevent it from slipping out.

hi Everyone,

It was a busy day - but I did:

Susan Powter - Burn Fat & Get Fit (from You Tube). I never did her workouts back in the day - but i enjoyed this one - it was simple and easy to follow and got the job done! (Stop the Insanity! LOL!)

I also finished the day w/ CS 1418.

I finished Season 14 finally!

Pam nice work!

Sherry - I hope you are feeling better.

Waves, wishiwasinhawaii and Liz!

Hi all,
I'm finally getting back on the workout bandwagon, but I still don't have a routine that feels right.

Earlier this week I thought I might do Jessica's Spring Ahead program, so I did Cardio Step Jam and Poise and Grace. But for the last 2 days I've done some Powerfits. At least I am moving my body! I'm glad that Donna and wishiwasinhawaii don't have to go in the office. Going into the office is what is interrupting my workout routine. It is much harder finding time to workout when I have to commute. (or maybe that is my excuse)

I noticed I lost some stamina when I was doing Poise and Grace and found myself following Debbie a few times! I'm sure it will come back eventually.

Donna, I'm glad you are mentioning the Ellen's you are doing, I'm filing them away for when I want to attempt Ellen again.

Sherry, I hope the teeth saga continues to improve.

Pam, enjoy that New Englad spring and your treadmill!

wishiwasinhawaii, I hope you had a good Easter, maybe I'll go back to WS1!

take care,
Liz
