I'm going to recommend this instead of Drop Two Sizes for anyone who wants a non-intimidating, flexible program. Or a Glute Guy-style program minus the creep factor After I did the first week of her break-in routine, my gluteus medius muscles hurt like hell, it was like a perpetual sideache in both sides. Once that cleared up, I found I could deadlift more than before without lower back pain. It's like those muscles were awakened, or something.

Jessica Smith mostly. Every once in awhile I try a different instructor, but so far have only been consistent with Jessica.

From browsing this book on Amazon, it looks like you would have to do the workouts at the gym. Is that correct?

My DS and I are starting on the programs from Fitness Weight Training: https://smile.amazon.com/Fitness-Wei...ength+Training
This book contains many lifting programs using dumbbells - and they are progressive in nature.

Definitely try Jenny Ford's online step workouts, if you haven't already. TheGymBox is good too.

Yes, they're like the New Rules books in that heavy weights and gym machines are used.

Her youtube channel has a lot of glute circuits most of which only use bands, benches/steps and dumbbells.

Another vote for Jenny Ford, her step workouts are effective but not overly complex. She cues well and she's so likeable. I must look into the GymBox!
