OT: LF a good blender - Page 5

I just looked at my KitchenAid and mine's right between the two.

I mostly use mine for much smaller amounts than even 48 ounces, since I use the machine to do the chopping/working, and can add extra liquids in another container, or do multiple batches the way I might with a food processor.

Are there specific recipes you're thinking of that would require a larger container?

I love my Cuisinart. I've had it for years and it is powerful and makes great smoothies. It chops ice like a dream.
