Oh - quick PS - I peeked at our nest and little runt is holding his/her own. Yay! That alpha one is strong! Flapping and he learned how to preen himself. Amazing how fast they grow.

Pat, ugh, so sorry about your oil aggravations! Your annoyance is very understandable (but hope your DH is out of the doghouse by now). I was just checking out the nest, and the whole family was there; it looked like all 3 chicks were active.

Ooo, Pam, I've taught yin half frog to shoulder stretch in class - although it can be somewhat hard to explain the transition to a group!

Here is the 21-Day series I started doing with Cassey Ho; I'll do #2 today. I'm doing them about every other day (alternating with the beginners series from Lift with Cee), although there might be some I do two days in a row:

I can't remember if I said that I'm doing a workshop this weekend with Ellen Saltonstall. I'm doing the Saturday afternoon Your Nervous System and Yoga:

And finally, I stumbled onto a blog by our friend Garrie! I don't recall if he told us about it before or not:

Happy Thursday! (no sun here though)

Good morning!

Beth - Half frog to intense shoulder stretch just seems like a natural transition to me. Your workshop looks very interesting! I remember Garrie had a blog, I believe he posted a link at one point.

Pat - Glad the oil tank business isn’t as bad you thought & I also hope your DH is out of the dog house. We replaced our oil tank a while back. Out here they have an expiry date on them & the oil company won’t fill it if it’s expired. We are taking the plunge this year and replacing our oil heating system with a heat pump as there’s a decent government rebate in place.

Back later with my workouts….

I had a good 30 minute lower body workout this morning.

Pam, I had an exer-tube with handles many years ago and I agree with you that it is a lot better than holding a resistance band but mine was so old that I feared it would snap in my face so I got rid of it.

Pat, you'll have more peace of mind once your oil tank is replaced.
The osprey babies are so cute!

Beth, I look forward to your review of the Saltonstall's workshop. I hope you enjoy it.
I've been on Garrie's subscription list for quite sometime.

Todays workouts:
~Taught Essentrics
~Jessica’s WS3: Boogie IT
~Acupressure, stretches, supported yin poses….hip, leg, shoulder, QL, chest opening focus. Finished with supported fish.

Paine - My exer-tubes can attach & detach from the handles so I often double up. That way if one snaps I won’t go flying backwards, lol.

Waves to all!

Hi!

Today's Workout: Kept it short and sweet -- the Abs & Waist routine from Essentrics Body Sculpting Series with Sahra. Too hot to do anything else!

Beth: Thanks for the link to our Garrie's website. I took a little peek around and was very impressed!

Waving to all!

Good morning and TGIF! It's so beautiful here it feels like a gift from the universe. I have a fun thing this summer. Normally cardinals are very shy, but this year we have a male who comes to the door and literally sings for his supper. He comes right to the back door and flutters around on the steps, or perches on the hummingbird feeder going "chip! chip!" I throw out a few peanuts and he comes right down. Now he knows to sit on the hummingbird pole and sing so sweetly until one of us comes to the door. Sometimes the wife comes with him, and he feeds the first peanut to her. She's not as brave. I often find him sitting on the grill looking at the door.

Aside from Bird Land I accomplished:

~ Jessica Valant 10 Minute Pilates Back Workout
~ Lunch walk
~ GYM for 15/15 recumbent bike and treadmill
~ 6,610 steps

Beth and Pam - I love the half frog to shoulder stretch. My sister called that "crash test dummy"

Have a great time at the workshop Beth!

Waves to all.

Yin Yoga with Mimi Solaire (Leg and Hip practice)

I will be going on a neighborhood walk with my grandson in a few minutes. I have been walking with him every day and we both enjoy it. He begs me to take him for a walk every morning.

Beth, thank you for your Locust Pose YouTube. I like the cactus variation and also using the bolster!
