Hi everyone,

Just stopping in to let everyone know we lost our Christopher yesterday. At 8:15 a.m., he began having seizures. We rushed him to the vet and he was there for observation all day. Despite being on anti-seizure meds, the seizures continued. I spoke at length with our Vet and we knew what we had to do but it is never, ever easy. I'm brokenhearted for my husband because these two adored each other. I was just the hired help.

He was our greatest teacher - kindness, patience, compassion. He was 100% dependent on us for all his needs - at times, it was difficult but we would adopt him all over again. We had almost 5 years with him but I wish we could have many more.

I will be back to normal in a few days and back to our check-in, which I've missed. I just needed to completely focus on Chris' needs and I'm glad I did.

Love you guys!

First - Diane - I'm so sorry about Christopher. The worst part of being a pet parent is that they don't live long enough....((HUGS))

Diane - sending hugs to you and DH. Christopher was so fortunate to have you both to love and care for him.

On the workout front....

Yesterday I did get out for a dog walk. I'm glad to be getting back into the habit. Today is raining, so I will do an indoor activity instead.

I also did a short yoga session last night - Yoga w/ Kassandra - Evening Yoga Challenge Day # 3.

Today, so far, has been:

Ellen - Barre Conditioning
Ellen - Sleek Side Body

I needed an Ellen fix!

I will probably do my LWR workout today at lunch and maybe a CS this evening.

I hope everyone has a good Friday Eve!

My yesterday featured:

~ LWR 10 Minute Low Impact Cardio
~ Lee Holden Qigong for Neck and Upper Back Pain
~ 5,709 steps

I'm getting my Reiki Master certification this weekend! Seven hours each day, Friday, Saturday and Sunday. There are only four students in the class and we all had to provide our vax card and we'll be wearing masks for the hands on portions. I can't wait but am also kind of nervous.

Good morning to all!

Hi all !!

Just popping in to say hi. The back seems to be improving *knock wood*. I need to get the head to improve now and get back to a fitness routine.

DIANE, oh I'm so sorry! When you weren't here for awhile I figured you were lovingly tending to Christopher. {{Hugs}} to you and DH.

DONNA, good workouts and good for you getting back into your walking habit. Good luck on the job front!

PAT, oh that Reiki certification sounds intense. Enjoy and good luck!

I have PSE&G coming to replace the pump for the furnace tomorrow. At least we still have heat for now, albeit a little on the noisy side. Hopefully the pump gets things back to normal.

Waves to PAM.

Have a great day!

Hi Everyone,

Yesterday was a rainy day here so no outdoor walk but I did do LWR's 1,000 step walk at lunch along w/ her 9 Min full body sculpt. So at least I stuck to the habit of getting something in during the day rather than sitting at my desk all day!

I didn't do an evening session though.....

Today, so far, has been:

Ellen - Abs & Arms
Ellen - Quick Tone

For my lunch break today - I'll do LWR's 10 min heart health workout and maybe a 15 min essentrics session....

Summer Breeze - I'm glad your back is improving and your furnance is still working!! Always something.....

Pat - good luck this weekend!!!

((HUGS)) to Diane

and waves, to Pam!

Hope everyone has a good Friday!

Hi everyone, sorry to be MIA again.

We got home Sunday morning after an all night flight. It took me a day or two to get myself in order. I’m planning to get back to MR’s workouts 2-3 times a week.

Here’s my week so far….

~Jessica’s WS Ballet Fusion Sculpt
~neighbourhood walk
~Yin yoga class on zoom

Wednesday:
~Taught Essentrics on zoom
~Jessica’s 40 min walk from her 30 Day set
~Body Electric 1911
~MELT: Travel Map
~Seated & reclined stretches….hips & legs, twists, QL focused side stretches, savasana on my soft half foam roller

Thursday:
~Taught Essentrics
~Pulled out my bolsters, blocks, & blankets for an hour of stretching & yin poses….forward bends, side bends, shoulder stretches, twists, hip openers.

Friday:
~Jessica’s Metabolism Booster: Lower Body Circuit
~Yoga Mind & Body

Diane - So sorry for your loss. (((Hugs)))

Donna - I could use an Ellen fix & I’m thinking of doing a month of her streaming. It’s been a while and I’d like to do her newest offerings.

Pat - I hope you enjoy your Reiki training.

Summer breeze - Glad to hear your back is improving.

Waves to all!

Hi all !!

Yesterday was:

Pahla B's Tone Your Arms, Legs & Belly

I really enjoyed this one. It was a cardio with light weights workouts. She used 5 lbs. I started off with 5 but had to drop to 3's. I'm definitely de-conditioned. Well the PSE&G guy didn't think I needed a new pump. Everything seems to be working ok for now so keep your fingers crossed this continues.

PAM, welcome back! I'm sure you had a wonderful time. Looks like you got right back into a nice routine.

DONNA, our big ice event kind of fizzled out. It did rain all day but I didn't notice much icing. I think I may have noticed where Pahla tweaks the back. She has these moves where you lift your leg out to the side like a tik tok movement. I'm not sure what she calls it exactly but that's when I noticed my back starting to feel some strain. Now it's still sore today but not as bad as it's been thankfully. So there's definitely something to your thinking that she bothers your back.

Hope PAT is enjoying her Reiki certification.

{{Hugs}} to DIANE.

Have a wonderful day!

Todays workouts:
~ETV: Sasha’s cardio, standing segment, first 35 min
~MR’s Unplugged 1912
~Beachfront trail walk
~Rodney Yee’s Back Care Yoga (YT)

Summer breeze - I like Pahla, I’ve only done a couple of her workouts. She seems so nice, and the workouts were good, but I can’t handle her non stop talking, lol. I did a rebounder workout of hers a while back and it was like she never stopped to take a breath.

(((Hugs))) to Diane & waves to all!
