He was too over the top for me....which is saying a lot, since I use Richard Simmons occasionally

I think that review is a little unfair. I understand Leandro being over the top and all, but I AM surprised he didn’t like the music. Leandro uses covers of some great songs. I think if you are going to review something you should at least get the instructor’s name right. He kept referring to Leandro as “Leo”, so I’m not sure if he’s being funny or doesn’t know Leandro’s name. Also, as a 46-year old man, I’m not surprised he didn’t like it. He did say he knows he’s not the target audience. I imagine a lot of 46-year old men wouldn’t be that impressed with Leslie, either. (He’d probably call her “Liz” in his review.) Leandro IS over the top, but I don’t mind. I think the workouts are fun and Leandro is the only person in the last few years who has told me he loves me, so I’m happy to hear it and I always tell him I love him, too.

I have 3 sets of these DVDs because I want to make sure I always have these workouts. These workouts have absolutely no dread factor for me and even when I’d rather do nothing I can always talk myself into one of these workouts.

There are a couple background exercisers who make weird fish faces, but I ignore them.

I still love, love, love this set. I’ve been using these since April 2018 (plan to go back and count how often I’ve done these workouts). I love Leandro and his antics. Love the crew, love how hammy everyone else. I have to say at this point I keep the volume low and use these as companions for extra steps while listening to my own music or a podcast. I’ve done these so often that I don’t even have to look at the screen to keep up but I love the companionship.

I never feel these in my hip flexor (like I do with Leslie).

Gams, I bought another set during BB sale last year. Also, don’t know if you have this but the WW set is good (The Ultimate Dance Party), too! Reminds me of Yv2 - the set, the colors, maybe a little more structured, but I like it!

Well - I'm interested again! Hip flexors trying to run the show is a big problem for me.
