I don't do any impact stuff, but I really have enjoyed Cathe's ICE series - lots and lots of options on these DVDs.

KCM - I like most of her stuff, but just did Lean Body Circuits last week and enjoyed both workouts a lot. I also like Muscle Up - pretty traditional weight work on that one.

I don't enjoy either but have a few holdouts. Xtrain All Out Impact HIIT combines basic moves with some weighted moves, especially for the legs. This I think you would like. The newer Low Impact HIIT is hit or miss -- Cathe directs the user to ignore the beat for a few of the songs -- which may get some getting used if you the like movements timed to the music.

It's okay if you don't like an instructor! If you didn't like them in the past, you probably still won't like them! I love the Firms and AWT workouts, but have NEVER clicked with Cathe. I tried to: I at one time or another had her DVD's of step, weights, and low impact workouts but gave them all away.

I love KCM workouts- even though there is some impact in her cardio, it is never over the top and always shows a modifier. And her weight workouts are top notch. She has so many premixes on her DVD's that they don't seem to get old. You mentioned no/low impact workouts- have you tried kickboxing? I tend to lean towards kickboxing because you can get a great workout with little to no impact (and it's great for the core!). KCM has a RAW workout on youtube that is kickboxing; she punches the air and her brother punches a bag. Give it a try and see if you might like that.

Wendy ~ I don't think I can do Cathe. I've watched clips off and on all day trying to decide if I should give her workouts a chance. I think I'll pass.

Now.. KMC is someone I'm considering. I posted a list at the exchange. She really does have more of a AWT feel to her toning workouts.

Big fan of Kelly's circuit/4 limb work - especially her newer offerings. Not a fan of Circuit Burn, love Your Best Body, Plateau Buster, Trim Down. Her RAW hip and glute work looks like it might interest you since there is all 4s work.

KCM has three RAW workouts posted right now. I think they are all around 30 minutes. Tina, if you don't like isolated work, you probably won't dig Cathe too much. She has a lot of that

I do believe tastes can change though. I never used to like the Firms, and look at me now. I'm a baby, late bloomer Firm believer

I spent more time than I care to admit watching clips yesterday of both instructors. I will definitely pass on Cathe. I respect her tons, but just don't click with her. Kelly I think I could enjoy her weight workouts, because they fall into the AWT that I like to do.

I hear ya, Tina...but Cathe's ICE Metabolic Total Body and S&S PHA Training will definitely remind you of old-school Firm.

I just watched ICE MTB again and maybe that would be worth trying. What is S&S PHA?

ETA: Figured it out!
