Just did my first Ellen Barrett workout

I've done her Weight Watchers walking DVD (which I have and like), but I'm talking about her usual workouts. I'd never done one before, but I just got done doing Barefoot Cardio. I loved it! I hesitated doing her workouts because I don't like doing bending knee stuff, as I have bad knees. But her bendy knee stuff didn't bother mine very much. And I did break a sweat. It was good to slow things down and feel connected with the workout and with my body. I feel refreshed now. I thought I hated doing "slow" workouts, but I loved Barefoot Cardio

I will do her Crunch Fat Burning Pilates tomorrow, since it's on Youtube. I have found a new instructor. I've discovered Ellen Barrett, Jessica Smith, Shaun T, and Chalene Johnson in the last month.

So exciting to find a new instructor you love!!!!

There's a set of all four of her Crunch workouts on one disc for 14.99 at Target. Have fun!

Barefoot Cardio was my first Ellen Barrett workout, and it made me a fan. I began purchasing all her others after that. My other favorites are Power Fusion, Slim Sculpt, and Fat Burning Fusion. The Crunch ones are also terrific.

They are on separate disks- one case (or my set was anyway) If it matters.

Ah! It looked like it would just hold one. Didn't buy it bc I already owned them.

I saw the Crunch set at Target as well. I have to admit I believe they're still my favorite Ellens.

They are, and they move faster and are livelier than her Studio workouts. I do love many of her Studio offerings as well, especially Fat Burning Fusion and Grace and Gusto (that's from her Live series). And I really like her weighted workouts but am more cautious with them due to my shoulder issues, so I modify them a bit. Slim Sculpt, Skinny Sculpt, Zen Sculpt and Sleek Express are all very nice.

Ya know they may have changed it when re-stocking. I know they were out for a long time. I haven't been to Target in a good while, so I don't know.
