I remember one particular channel was having a discussion about leggings in high school and had models stand to be critiqued by the panel

Heard one school had a way of measuring by having students get on their knees on the floor and if skirt does not touch the floor then it's too short.

I wanted to bring out my ruler and measure the women's skirts on that channel.

I love Matthew West!

I read somewhere that this silly song is causing a lot of controversy: "West clarified his views on Twitter, explaining that his intention was to encourage his daughters to focus on what's inside rather than outside. "As a dad raising daughters, this song is my ridiculously silly way of reminding them that their appearance doesn't define them. If my own father thought I was "hottest" when modest then I would make a point of being non-modest, or at least try not to be alone with him...

I get that he's a dad and just wants to protect his lovely daughters, but that video is sexist, IMO. You don't see mothers making videos about how their sons should dress.

"Now Johnny, no bare chest, tight pants (good-bye football and baseball), swim trunks shorter than knee height... Being covered from head to toe like the Amish is soooo hot!!"

Not a fan of the song. It’s making women responsible for the reactions of others. It’s impossible for his daughters to control the thoughts of those who look at them.

I can see both sides of the discussion.

I think about my poor dad who grew up in early part of the the 1900's. He gets to see his daughter's outfits in the "hippie/bra-burning/miniskirts" 1970's. That had to have been stressful!
