I got my first dose two days ago and felt the side effects yesterday, and my arm is actually more sore today. It wasn't horrible, and I'm certainly not complaining, but since most people are reporting side effects after the second dose, I'm just wondering if it will be worse next time. I'll be prepared, just in case, but good to know that it's not inevitable.

I got my first Pfizer about an hour ago. Yay! I don't feel anything out of the ordinary.

I got my second Pfizer yesterday. So far, my reaction to #2 is better than #1. A consistent headache and some digestive issues. I napped 2 hours yesterday and slept 11 last night. I walked last evening and this morning. I didn’t push myself but just an easy walk to enjoy sunshine and fresh air.

I got my first Pfizer on Wednesday. I was tired that day and took a nap. The next morning I felt rested and good, but I did gentle yoga because that's what I had planned (in case I felt bad) and because it seemed like a pleasant thing to do that day. My arm was sore, but not to an extreme - about like a tetanus shot.

I thought I had gotten away unscathed, but then I went to bed. I guess that arm was sore. I couldn't sleep on it all night. And I woke up at 4:00 with a headache that wore me down the next day.

First Moderna this past Saturday. My arm is too sore to sleep on, and yesterday I could not lift it more than about a 20-degree angle in any direction without pain. It's better today, more like a faint bruised feeling. I can work out today but won't be slinging around any weights. Yesterday would not have been comfortable at all; even walking would have been hard because I couldn't swing my arm naturally.

I had my second dose of Pfizer on Saturday evening. I was fine when I went to bed but woke up at 3 AM with a fever of 101.5, aches, a headache, an upset stomach, and extreme fatigue. I spent all day yesterday in bed. Today I don't have a fever or any of the other symptoms, but I am still tired. I had to miss water aerobics for the first time in months. I haven't been this sick since I had the flu many years ago. It was much worse than I expected, especially since I know a number of people who have had no side effects at all.

5 days later, and i feel pretty good. i wonder if the vaccine killed other bad things in my body too because i feel so energized and almost pain-free.

i read an article last week about a woman who was a covid survivor and recently got 2 of the recommended vaccine shots. she said her lingering symptoms from covid seemed to have disappeared - coughing, fatigue, etc. a doctor who was also interviewed said it's unclear whether it was the placebo effect or if the vaccine is a cure for the symptoms. further review is needed before that can be claimed.

I had my second Covid vaccination (Pfizer) on Saturday. Other than the sore arm for the rest of Saturday, all good. Sunday I was tired but did my workout without any problems first thing in the morning. By early Sunday afternoon, I had some chills and fatigue. One thing I did was drink a ton of fluids, including Lemonade Vitamin Water Zero, took Tylenol, and generally took it easy.

This morning I felt completely normal. So, for me, I haven't missed a beat on my workouts. It will be interesting because my husband gets his second shot on Thursday (Moderna) so we'll see if he has a different reaction.

All in all, I'm so happy to be fully vaccinated!!! I can now see the light at the end of this very, very dark tunnel. I only wish my cousin survived Covid long enough to get vaccinated. She did everything right but the maintenance people in her building did not - came to work knowing they had Covid and refused to wear masks.
