I had an amazing walk at the beach while the sun was setting last night. I love this time of year, when you don't have to wait until 9:00 to see the sun set. I walked almost two miles and saw two great blue herons come swooping in to roost, a gathering of killdeer, and various ducks, cormorants, etc.

Be well everyone. Sending hugs to all who need them.

Workouts were pretty much nothing this week after starting off strong. Tue was groceries,
Wed cleaning, Thu errands and starting Halloween decorating, yesterday was pretty much all decorating, only really stopped for meals. We only walked in the morning. But my village is all up as well as most of the other indoor stuff. Outside will wait a couple weeks and I have to trim bushes before I can put lights on them. My dad is here for a week so I probably won't be posting.

Have a great week and waves to all!

Already decided to do a foot soak with lavender epsom salts this evening.

Yesterday a friend and I met up for a walk in a park. It was nice for us to meet up with each other.

Gorgeous fall day but I still miss summer.

Today's special touches: brown sugar & fig lotion, bat earrings, rings: tree, witch hat/ broom and turtle

Today Dad and I are going to Harbor Freight to get cheap batteries for my village bc I need a LOT of them! Cyric is loving having Dad here almost as much as I am.

Recently, I found a small way to brighten my morning. We had bought some frozen fruit and whipped cream for desserts. One morning I put some whipped cream on to my cuppa tea. It made it seem somehow special and even decadent.

At least for now, whipped cream on my tea is a must to start the day!

That sounds absolutely wonderful!!

Work was stressful and busy today.

I took 10 minutes for myself and went for a walk outdoors. It was so refreshing and gave me a reboot.

After doing a Leslie walk on YT, I went to Playing For Change, and danced around to their version of "Don't Worry, Be Happy"
It's an upbeat song anyway, but it has mostly children singing and playing so it really makes me happy!

I literally forced myself to get some exercise yesterday. I awoke at 2:30 a.m. and dragged all day. In the evening I got out the mat and did some pre-walk stretches and PT, then walked around the neighborhood.

I felt better for it. And I got to see a bizarre sight - our skies in CT are impacted by the west coast fires!! There was a milky blanket of haze which caused the setting sun to look like a big blazing ball. I can't believe it's stretched all the way to New England.

I might try a little Namaste Yoga which is now free on Prime. Does anyone remember when it was called "Names T&A" around here?

At the end of the workday, I closed my computer and met up with a friend for our after work walk. Friend time and exercise!!!

I can see the impact of the West Coast smoke from here.

I am going to bed earlier tonight. I need some extra rest so why not??? If I feel a need to take a nap on the sofa, I need to go to bed earlier.

I think tonight's lotion is lavender.

I put cinnamon in my coffee this morning. It was very yummy and felt cozy. I'm hoping maybe I can use milk and cinnamon instead of coffee creamer but we'll see.

Cool citrus basil lotion today and a few more rings.
