Good for you!

I know all about the aches and pains that creep up on you, but in recent months I've had good results from simply doing what I can, as often as I'm able. Overdoing it in a fit of enthusiasm is so counterproductive, you'd think I'd learn that by now. My latest project involves taking care of my hips so I can maybe cross my legs and/or sit on the floor more comfortably. Lately I've had bursitis that makes me really tight, but I do think slow and steady progress is possible.

I envy you your vcr, I don't even have one hooked up any more, but still have mine in a stack. Can't use them, can't quite give them up. Do keep reading here, we're forever talking about workouts that were only ever on VHS. What's that saying about how things go in cycles, and everything old is new again? Good workouts will always be welcome.

Welcome back!

Workouts got me through a really rough divorce and financial difficulties. I often just put on old Leslie workout on and found the movement made me smile.

You've got this!

Welcome back! Good on you for reaching out, and making it through some really tough life situations.

Please do post some of your workout interests; we would all love to help out with suggestions!! Your idea of downloading at Starbucks is great. Not knowing what you like, I will still make a small suggestion: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=pj4qo2KL9f4. Lee Holden is so great, and relaxing, and I feel so energized and yet relaxed after one of his Qi Gong practices. And they are great for loosening up stiff shoulders, legs, etc.

ATTA GIRL!!!!!

When I am starting back, I literally put a post it note on the front of the dvd of the time I made it through that day (and it might only be 5:06 minutes the first time) and the next day I aim to make it one minute more. That's it. No judgment for not doing the whole thing. Just a minute more each day.
