Cathe Live Reviews & Favorites

Anyone still doing these? I am but I tend to do the ones that I know to love. I was relying on 2lazy4gym reviews but she's in a Jessica/Barlates phase now (I know I'm selfish but please please go back to Cathe Live -- haha).

I would love if anyone else is doing these to post quickie reviews with Workout Name, Workout Date and Thoughts. Anything else is gravy. I can post what I know and the ones that are my go-tos and why.

I miss 2Lazy4theGym's Cathe Live reviews too! I'm doing Cathe about 3 times a week and have a few breakdowns and notes I can post. I don't usually feel like I need them for metabolic workouts, but I like them for strength. No guarantees about accuracy, detail etc, but hopefully helpful.

Thanks Maybelle! Sorry got caught up in the holiday chaos.

I just did Quick Fix Boxing 100 Reps which is one of my go to's. I only do the first half (30 min or so) which is boxing drills. I tend to do things low impact and have no problem adjusting for this (snowangels are done as low impact jacks, etc). The combos are simple to follow and I love the 100 rep work done on the bag. Since May when I started Live I've done this one 7 times.

Monday I did Metabolic Meltdown which is another of my go to's. I generally use 5-7 lb dumbbells. It moves fairly quickly through combo moves that are simple (except a weird twisty one that I can't seem to figure out). I always feel great after this one. I've done this one 9 times since May (total Lives = 64)

Another vote for Metabolic Meltdown here! That's my all time favorite Cathe Live, she gets a lot done in 42 minutes! I like that it's total body including some ab/lower back at the end.

Some other favorites are:

Compound HIIT - It's the latest Cathe Live. Love it! I've done it 4-5 times in the last two weeks. Cathe alternates a compound move with a HIIT move (most are easy to modify to lower impact if needed)

Mixed Impact HIIT w/Bonus Abs - Nice mix of cardio moves that alternate higher and lower impact. The higher impact HIIT is easy to modify down if needed.

Vertical Loading - This is a great total body weight workout!

Total Body Giant Sets - Wow, this one is tough but again a great total body.

Bootcamp Blast Off - This one is one of my all time favorites. Cathe alternates cardio with weights. There's a little glitch in the music on the last round but I don't mind because it gives me a chance to drink some water, lol! I think that's what makes Cathe Live so great, it's not perfect like a live class.

Crush It Low Impact Live - 35 minute workout that is all low impact but fun.

Strong Upper Body Express - This gets the upper body cooked in only 40 minutes. Great workout!

Trisets Legs Live - This reminds me of the STS Meso 2 lowerbody workouts (which I like a lot).

For the Love of Cardio - Fun moves, I enjoy doing this one when I want cardio only.

PHA Training Live - Great total body workout.

These are just some of my favorites. I do like you, tend to do the same ones over and over that I like.

You guys have listed some great ones and some of my favorites, but Push/Pull needs to be added. Total body in ~45 minutes including abs.

Thanks for the reminder about Push/Pull Lori! I did it this week and forgot what a GREAT workout this one is for sure! Cathe goes slow enough that you can go heavy but the pace is perfect. Wow, you get a lot done in such a short period of time!
