Today was the first day I decided to skip the yin challenge. It was snail pose (plow pose), which never feels good to me.

Instead I did the Awaken & Energize practice from Rodney Yee's Yoga for Energy and Stress Relief. It had been awhile since I last did this one, and I really enjoyed it; it was very relaxing.

Dena - I’m chuckling at your BF’s “ouch”.

Beth- I need some folded blankets under my shoulders to do plow/snail. Otherwise it feels like too much strain on my neck & compression of my throat.

01/24/2022 - Day 35 - Rodney Yee's Core Centered Yoga, Back Balance.

Yee's Core Centered Yoga DVD is interesting. It's yoga science, lots of cuing on internal and external rotations, minute attention to how it feels this way versus that way. Yesterday featured "the dialogue between the pubis and the tailbone." ROTF, all I could think of was "A pubis walks into a bar ..." and sits on a bar stool to chat with a tailbone.

LOL Pat! So this is a different DVD than his Core Cross Train, correct?

I do love Rodney's cuing overall; I enjoyed practicing with him yesterday too!

LOL, Pat -

I have lost my yoga mojo at the moment - I'm not forcing it - just waiting for it to return!

LOL If only our pubis and tailbone could speak. The stories they could tell...

I did a Full Body Vinyasa Flow with Jessica Richburg (TY) followed by a Meditation for Digestive Health (I've been having gut issues).

Full wheel was in today's practice and while I can get into the pose okay, I look like a total oaf when I come out of it; my head feels like a bowling ball.
It's like you said, Beth, sometimes yoga is not pretty!!
