I do this, but instead of praying hands, I'm holding a KB.
I stay down for a bit and pop up and go back down and stay....
Really has helped my low back...scoliosis. My balance and legs also look better.

I deep squat and crawl a lot on the floor with my dog. I definitely feel they help with hip mobility and lower back pain, I just have to be a little careful how long I spend in the squat bc of high hamstring tendonitis.

Garland pose is one of my favorite yoga poses. It really loosens up my lower back and hips and helps with proper spine alignment / posture. I'm going to start doing it every day and see if I notice any (additional) benefits.

Thank you for sharing the article!

Thanks so much for posting! I'm definitely going to try this. I like the idea of holding a kettlebell too.

Wonder if it would help with knees. I can get in it but getting back up to standing is pretty hard without using my hands. Interesting article. I will keep Adriennes youtube on hand.

This has become one of my favorite yoga poses. It's a great stretch, especially at the end of a practice. I've been doing it off the mat, too, but not daily.
