While I didn't see that, I have not seen anything that I thought would be great lately either. Maybe it disappears too quickly for me to notice?

Or the prices are so elevated that it’s not worth it. I have an Aeropilates machine (never used) that was given to me and was looking for replacement cords in case I ever need them. They’re out of stock on the Stamina site and where I can find them, including eBay, the asking price is astronomical. I’m researching how to make my own now.

Edited to add: There’s a Firm Parts More 5 Day Abs that just listed for $200!! I’d love to have this workout on dvd but I do have it on VHS. For just slightly over that price I could get Cathe’s STS 2.0 AND her new series presale. It’s insane!

I read that to mean that you bought it; so you're welcome, bubbles!

Jessica Smith is like gold these days! Someone (or ones) is/are inflating the prices.

Indeed I did

I don't even search for Firm workouts anymore. They're just going to be too much. There are only about five or six ((5 Day Abs and More 5 Day Abs being two of them) that I'm missing that are remastered but I'll live with it at those prices

Same.

I think what happened is someone drunk bid on a Firm dvd recently and put high bid at $250 instead of $25. I don’t sell on eBay, but I know there are sellers who group bid to drive up prices. Needless to say, now it’s on record that similar dvds were purchased at $250 so a new seller thinks they might get a sale at that price. Insanity.

Wait what???? There are sellers that group bid?? You know, I always suspected that but I haven't been purchasing on eBay for that long. Shouldn't surprise me.

Or they get friends to bid on things to drive up the price because they want a certain price.

I had this happen to me on a Firm Ballroom Aerobics. The seller would list it as a bid (no best offer or buy now). I’d bid to a max amount. Let’s say $20. It’d suddenly have a flurry of bids towards the end and well, gosh darn it, I didn’t win. Well, this particular seller couldn’t wait too long to relist the item. Rinse and repeat. This happened 3 times with the same seller. So I know there was block bidding trying to get people sucked into a bid war and pay more. I’ll also just say I know a seller personally who said the block bidding happens more often than you think.
