- Yoga matt - I currently have misplaced it though???

In my tiny apartment, I have the following:

Use all the time:
Dumbbells (2 - 15 lbs)
Barbell
Stability ball
Original Club Step & risers

Occasionally (but rarely) reach for:
Firm Fanny Lifter
Dynabands
Firm Sculpting Stick (only for balance)
Adjustable ankle weights (I can't get through most floor work with NO ankle weights!)

Never touch:
Lateral Thigh Trainer (loved it for about 15 minutes, then put it in the basement)

Not much stuff...

Small Reebox Step (would dearly love full size Club Step)
Stability ball
Resistance band
3, 5, 8 lb weights
2 lb ankle weights
improvise w/10" Rubbermaid step stool for step up box

I've got my sister, the garage sale queen, looking for a Club Step and a Rebounder

Just dumbbells, various wrist/hand/ankle weights alone would be 25 items. Yeah, I know it's an odd number. I have a 15-lb. dumbbell without a mate, because Target only had one in stock at the time, I bought that one, and they never got another one in of that same type. Oh well, I can always use it for French presses or concentration bicep curls and such where you only need one weight anyway.

A weight rack for the aforementioned free weights.

I also have a barbell with two 2.5 lb plates, and two 5 lb. plates.

Firm Fanny Lifter, sculpting stick, and incline box.

Polar A3 heart rate monitor

Rio Cali Sport MP3 player.

Two Reebok weighted balls, one 3 lbs. and one 5 lbs.

A velour exercise mat.

A jump rope.

A stability ball, with a steadying base for those moves where you absolutely can't balance yourself on it without it rolling over.

Two of those cable things with the handles, one medium and one high resistance.

A set of three Pilates bands.

The main ones that DON'T get used much are any weights below three lbs. (now that they advise AGAINST using hand weights at the same time as cardio), the jump rope (I'm in a second-story apartment and the floors/ceilings aren't exactly soundproof), and the Pilates bands, just because I'm concentrating on cardio and body sculpting more right now than stretching, but I'm sure they'll come in handy once I get around to doing Cathe's "Stretch Max" and any of my virgin Pilates workouts. I've never bought a REALLY high-ticket item like a treadmill, elliptical, etc., because I'd have nowhere to keep it.

Let's see if I can get them all!
Step (used often, as step or bench)
High Step (used often)
Barbells (2 Troy lites (used often), one EZ curl Inot used often)
dumbbells (2, 3, 5, 7, 8, 10, 12, 15, 20, 25, 30# pairs and 1, 35#) (used often)
Body bar (used once in a blue moon)
Resistance bands (used, but not often)
Smartbell (used often, but new, so might not be in the long run)
Stability balls (used often)
Bosu (deflated and gathering dust)
Core board (gathering dust, and looking for a new home, but postage is ridiculous!)
Wavemaster heavy bag (not used for quite a while)
PUllup tower (not used since last year's P90X rotation)
Rebounder (used, but not recently)
Stationary "spinning-type" bike (not used recently, would like to find a new home for)
Kathy Smith walk belt (not used for a long time)
Pilates ring (used once in a while)
Oof balls (2#, 3#, 4.5#, 6#, 9#) and medecine balls (5# and 10#) (used off and on)
Soloflex Rockit (not used recently, but used to do heavy squat/leg presses)
Fanny lifter (used VERY often...as a computer table!!)
Balance disc (used VERY often....as computer chair! Used pretty frequently for 1-knee push-ups)
Yoga mats (not used recently, but used off and on)
weighted gloves (2 pair 1#, 2#, 3#) (1# used often, others used off and on)
Push-up handle bars (not used recently)
Ankle weights (used often..also together as weight belt)
Weighted vest: up to 20# (used quite frequently since I've decided that 45# is as much as I want to lift overhead)
Powerboard (used twice: needs to be glued in spots. Piece of crap!)
Platemates (1.25# and whatever 1/2 of 1.25# is) (Used very often)
Heart rate monitor (not used--I don't know if it works right on me because I have Wolff-Parkinson-White, which makes an extra connection in my heart beat once in a while)
Firm Stick (not used. Waiting to get a box that fits so I can send it off to a good home)
Gliding discs (not used recently)

O.K. , PLEASE somebody have a longer list than this!

You can trade smaller fitness stuff

I have traded push-up handle bars, risers, mini-steps ( homemade version of the high step from before the high step was commercially available ), dynabands, all kinds of things over the years. On some things the postage was pretty high, so the trade on the other end had to be heftier to make up for it. You can ship a club sized step though Airborne Express for $11 - $15, depending on where it's going to and from. Larger fitness equipment just isn't feasible.

What I have:

Heart Rate monitor -- use all the time and LOVE it!
2 club sized steps
lots of dumbbells
body bars
2 barbells
ankle weights
mini-step aka high step
fanny lifter
many risers
stability ball
treadmill
2 med balls
dynaband
rubber tubing
Billy bands

Had and got rid of:

slide
BOSU
Reebok step
pushup handle bars
Ramp
weighted gloves

Does it all get used? Yes and no. Some things get more use than others. I've been on a huge Tae Bo spree for my cardio, so a lot of it is infrequently used right now. My step is much more often a weight bench than an aerobic step lately. The sad thing is, I'm sure I'm forgetting some things!

Geez, I don't feel so bad, looking at some of these lists

barbell set
ez curl bar
12# body bar (bought long ago, when strong and smooth moves came out, used mostly as a balance prop)
dumbbells, 2, 3.3, 5, 6.6, 8, 10, 12, 15, 20# (need 25's; I find myself holding two weighs in my hand sometimes)
ankle weights (soft, 1, 2.5 #)
more ankle weights (adjustable)
weighted gloves
Med balls 4, 5 (soft), 6#
Various whatchamacallit bands from Beachbody
pushup bars
stability ball
Reebok step
High step
door gym
jump rope
circular band (for TLP Core Cardio)
heart rate monitor

There's probably other stuff somewhere that's not coming to mind. I do tend to use most of that stuff, if not every week then every month or so, with the very notable exception of the jump rope, which doesn't seem to work out as well indoors as I'd hoped (at least not in my apt.).

I also have two smartbells on the way, and I'm probably going to buy some platemates fairly soon.
