Best:
Cathe STS Total Body - little dread factor when you know exactly how many reps you'll be doing, and no low-ends! This has become my go-to strength workout. Cathe High Reps - great moves and killer tricep section (but some dread factor due to the high reps and pulses/low-ends). Goudeau's Lean Hot Body - really tough, my favorite bootcamp-type workout these days. Worst: Urban Rebounder with Amy Bento - her persona was so weird and the workout made no sense. Tracey Mallett's Booty Barre - I just can't get into these kinds of workouts. |

Is it that time of the year already?
Worst:
Ballet Bootcamp Stretch - Did it once, wrote a scathing review, then promptly sold it. Best: 30MTF: Train Like a Contender MB45 Essentials - I'm so glad I decided to take the plunge with kettlebells, and this is a good DVD for beginners. Waiting to receive: Reinhardt Kettlebell System - I'm sure I'll love this one too.

In the past six months:
BEST: Jenny Ford's new DVD with three workouts. I've only done Step by Step but love it. Great value, 3 workouts for 10 bucks. Step by Step was worth the price. When I'm done with my current rotation, will do the others. Classical Stretch Vintage Collection--the Leg and Butt workout is the best thing ever for my hips/lower back Mimi Solaire's Deep Stretch--another great for my body Michele Olson's Perfect Legs, Glutes & Abs Cathe's STS Total Body, High Reps, Gym Styles, and most the others I got with her great sale Gin Miller's Step Reaction (can't remember when I got this, but think it was within the last six months) Worst: ??? I am trying to not be negative online. However, Amy Bento's Urban Rebounder DVDs were not for me. Nor was one of Patrick's. I haven't done them all yet, but I suspect after previewing, there are two more that "aren't for me." |

Love:
Supreme 90 - Love Tom Holland, love the value, love the workouts. Firm Express - great workouts, fun, love the 20 minute time frame, I actually feel worked and I always want to do 2 back to back because time flies Cathe's Travel Fit - I really can travel w/ it! Like: Booty Barre -very enjoyable, I like Tracey M. a lot. I may get BB plus in the future. TA Meta Omni - this would've been love if it were longer and included more abs, arms and standing legs. The 30 minute length made it a bit too easy so I added more arms and abs anyway. Misses: Turbo Fire - I sold this. I can't say I disliked it but I was expecting more attention to form and follow-through of the moves. The lack of it threw me off and diminished the enjoyment. Howevere, now I that I know what TF is abot, I may reacquire it in the future. Jari's Get Extremely Ripped - I was disappointed this wasn't really two 30-minute workouts. Jari's form was also off. Her two newest ERs look good though. I will vevetually get those. |
