Shiva Rea - A.M Energy

I already saw this title on Amazon.co.uk with no details but it showed up on Amazon.com http://www.amazon.com/Shiva-Rea-Am-E...698481&sr=1-38 as well and will be released on april 5th. yay ! can't wait for more info.

Hey guys, I found on B&N the names of the segments from the DVD:

Meditation: Core Awakening (5 min.)
Body Mandala 108 (20 min.)
Shakti Flow (20 min.)
Vira Flow (20 min.)
Bonus: Heart Salutation from Radiant Heart (20 min.)
Shavasana (6 min.)

so it's 3 new 20 min segments as in Daily Energy like I expected plus heart salutation from Radiant Heart which I never particularly liked. can't wait to try it though.

I did Vira Flow in a Shiva workshop at the Yoga Journal Estes Park conference. I believe it was (another) flow with 108 push-ups in it.

Hey Laura! seriuosly ? another one? she really loves it I guess, though I must admit that recently I've been doing her agni namaskars once or twice a week and I really love it so I wouldn't mind another variation.

That was my reaction in the workshop! I'm about 90% sure she called it Vira Flow although of course it could be different than the DVD.

I was struggling some with wrist pain at that point in the conference and used an alternative she offered, where instead of push-ups you could do a kneeling pose and lean backward (like thigh dancing in barre w/os). A quad killer instead of chest & upper body - interesting variation. At the end I realized I'd been totally cheating by mixing the two exercises 'cause I didn't do 108 of anything.

thanks Laura for the info, lucky you for even attending a Shiva workshop, I would love to go to one.

hey kitty, you know there are already 3 agni namaskar variations on daily energy, surf yoga soul and cc & upper body. and like I've said I wouldn't mind a fourth one too b\c I've been doing it a lot lately and really seeing good results with it and also it makes me feel like I really worked out even if I do only a 30 minute practice.
