Firm Barbell

I know this has been asked before but I can't find the answer after much searching.
How much does the Firm barbell weigh in the BHH Firms? Did they use a different set weight in the different workouts? For instance was the barbell in Vol. 6 at a different weight than Firm Cardio?

Thanks,
Beth

I don't know what BHH Firms are (sorry), but the neoprene covered Firm barbell (like the one Tracie uses in Tortoise and Hare) weighs 10 lbs without any plates on it.

This probably didn't answer your question, sorry.

You have to look hard to see how many plates they have on it. Unloaded, the bar weighs 10# and it came with pairs of plates weighing 1.25#, 2.5# and 5#. The 5# plate was the largest - if there's just one plate on each side of the bar (is that what Jayne P. used in Vol. 6?), then it's a 20# barbell - bar weight 10# + one 5# plate per side.

I believe the barbell alone weighs 10lbs; what weight you add is up to you, of course.

There were also additional 5# plates available. Pascal, I think Bethellen meant to say BBH, which stands for Benson, Benson & Henriksen, the Firm founders.

They're listed in the Fitness Favorites Forum at the bottom in the FAQ category. $70 for the barbell. You'll have to ask if that includes the weight plates.

p.s. I bought one from Annette in November and mine did not include weight plates, just the bar. I love it! I got standard plates at our sporting goods store on sale, so I was very happy.
