The older FitPrimes are excellent workouts. They never got the recognition they deserved.

Adam, Weights First is another tough workout. I think you'll like that one, too.

Now that I've done Strong Bear a few more times, I think I agree with you!

Has anyone else noticed that Fast Cheetah and this workout have some sort of synergy going on?

I know they are supposed to compliment each other, and I know that some people describe Fast Cheetah as 'weird', but if you do FC the day after doing Strong Bear, the FC workout feels totally different than if you do it after doing a workout other than SB the day before.

Hmmm, I don't think I know how to explain this very well. Sounds a bit 'new age'. But try it!

OK, I'll simply say this: Anna Benson may just be a genius.

Does anyone know approx how many calories Fast Cheetah burns? It always gets me sweating and breathing hard like crazy!

What's with all those carpets? I'm not familiar with older Firms or Anna Benson's work, but they all seem to have carpets featured quite prominently? Is it some kind of a running joke or a genuine useful workout surface?...

I really should check out some of these FitPrimes. That's a series I've never done and don't own any of, and yet I do so love the old FIRM. Tracie is one of my favorite instructors, too. I'm trying to get DH to start doing her workouts.

Don't you know that rugs are classier than yoga mats?
The early 'classics' had Persian rugs, Greek sculpture, and oversized Renaissance paintings... 'nuff said?

You haven't really worked out....until you've worked out on a Persian rug.

I've never done that before, but that's a good point. I am doing STS right now but after that, I am planning a classic Firm/Fitprime/TLT rotation and I'll definitely try those back to back as well as tortoise and Hare back to back.

No idea about the calories but funny you should ask because just this morning I was thinking to myself that I really need a heartrate monitor that tells how many calories burned.

"Genius" may be going a little far , but I definitely agree that there is something about the FitPrime workouts that is truly unique. I like Anna's WHFN workouts too, but I think she was at her peak with the FPs.

I think she is a genius- at the very least, gifted in many different genres- I know that her ex husband has posted about her music ability, which is amazing. In addition to her production work, she could have worked professionally as a musician. I think that is really evident in her videos.
