I'm going to add my thanks to this thread. We purchased a portable TBV after reading about stress reduction and improved sleep.

I'm not sure about the sleep benefits. I've had some amazing nights sleep and I've had some ok nights sleep. I'm still trying to figure out how late is too late to use it and sleep well.

I love it as a WO cool-down. I also like it after work as a transition into home life. After I finish working with my exercise and massage clients I use it to refresh my body.

We've only been standing on it but I notice that the vibration sound changes if my posture isn't well balanced so even standing has been valuable. I use it for 10 minutes once to twice a day. I've tried 3 of the presets and prefer two of them to the third I tried. Eventually I'll try the others.

Has anyone tried the cognitive shuffle technique to help with sleep? (along with using a WBV machine a few times a day). Simple but it works! I don't do the C shuffle every night, just now and then as needed.

Thanks for the link Spotted Zebra. I tried this several times and it worked! I pick a different word or a name to use each time.

Thanks for sharing this, I'm giving it a try!

In recent months I've had good luck doing a bit of yoga (or Melt Method) then getting in bed and counting backwards with each relaxing breath. I usually start at twenty, and if I get down to one I start again at forty. Haven't yet had to start over after that, LOL!

ETA: Gave it a try last night. Didn't get very far, kept getting distracted by my thoughts, so I went back to my usual countdown, but it was an interesting experiment. Gotta keep trying. My dreams were interesting, too.
