I love it! I can't remember who it was here, but someone mentioned that when Tracie Long does the "ta-da!" poses at the end of some of her workouts, she does them right along with her just for laughs.

Ahhh the Dork Dance! on the 1999 (?) Firm trip, there was a Dork Dance contest which I was NOT going to enter and one of the organizers made me. so that meant I had to practice that darn thing. I lost the contest, which was fine by me. LOLOL
There was a trophy and everything. I have pictures somewhere, but they are not digital.

Love Vol.4!!! Nothing beats the old FIRM! And yes, each time I do Vol.4 I end it with the Dork Dance and look like a dork. LOL! Love the music in Vol.4 too!

I hate to admit this, but I used to do the dork dance at the end of the workout not because I wanted to, but because I thought it was still part of the workout.
I couldn't understand why she didn't cue during it, but I had followed her this long, I was gonna see it to the end...
and I did.
Poorly.

How much!?

I confess. At the end of Sculpted Buns, Hips and Thighs, when Tracie puts her hands on her hips, turns out one foot and says "Great Job" in a "tada" kind of way, I did it every time. I'm such a geek! It's at the end of this clip!

Speaking of weird moves at the end of FIRM workouts, Pam Cauthen does this pose at the end of FIRM Strength as she's saying, 'great workout' or "great job" or whatever she says. I never can remember what she says because I'm going "huh?" over her pose. She extends her right arm straight out to the side and then puts her left arm over her head in a circle like she's left-handed and shooting a bow and arrow, to the sound of applause.

Half the fun of the old FIRMs is looking for their little quirks and idiosyncracies and laughing over them. The workouts are such serious business that we take our comic relief where we can get it

Heh, when I first saw it some time ago, I reacted the same way. I was watching the workout, most of all for the sake of finally seeing the Dork Dance , and building up my anticipation that way instead of fast-forwarding through it. Then I lost my patience and sped things up after all. Finally, I saw it. OK.

At least that way it's not as much of an embarrassment as I expected, right?
