Tough Mudder

Hi, all!

I am doing my first Tough Mudder this Saturday in Belmont, OH - anyone else out there doing it, too? I am nervously excited and cannot wait to tackle the course! I did the Warrior Dash a couple years ago, a half marathon last year, and the TM is this year's challenge.

If you're doing it this Saturday (or ever), good luck!! Also, if you have done it before, let me know any tips or helpful hints.

Thanks!
~Amy

Hi Amy, you'll have a great time. Don't turn it in to a race. Take your time and enjoy the process. I've completed two of them and have such great memories. I posted a bunch of tips on a thread last year. Let me find them and I'll repost them

Congrats! I haven't done a mud run yet, but the advice I hear over and over from friends who have is, "don't wear clothes you care about."

Good luck, Amy.

I've done "mud" runs before. I am with Kate, don't wear something you care about. Pace yourself and watch out for some of the really muddy areas - got a bunch of grit in my eyes and no matter how many times I washed my eyes out, it still felt like my cornea was scratched. Good luck!
