Oh I am so sorry you are having a reaction to the vaccination but that means it is doing it’s job. I was advised to drink a lot of water before, during and after. Also to move the arm if it was sore. Thankfully I seemed to have an easy time with the second dose.
Good luck! |

Lori, and all who have experienced bad side effects, I hope you recover soon. My thoughts are with you!
My sister had her second shot yesterday (Pfizer) and today she is really sick. Nausea, vomiting, migraine, fever, chills and body ache. She had nothing with the first shot. My DH and I were really on the fence about whether we wanted the vaccine, but finally came to the decision to get one about a month ago. So we easily found an appointment at a nearby pharmacy and went in for our shot. It happened to be the Johnson & Johnson, which we were excited about at first. We were happy not to have to get the second shot. It was probably 2 or 3 days later that all the J&J side effects came to light and they paused the shot. Urrgh! What are the odds? At first we were really bummed, thinking we shouldn't have gotten it. But, here's what happened... nothing. We literally had not one single side effect, either of us. We had the shot Saturday morning, came home and did a heavy weight workout. Got up the next morning and ran a 10K. Thank goodness we are still fine, never did have any issues.
