Question about upper body work

I am using crutches and swimming for cardio so I'm getting a lot of upper body work with that. In particular, my shoulders, upper back, and pecs get tired from using the crutches. That means I'm often sort of tired and sore to be doing upper body work as part of my exercise routine. I've been doing biceps and triceps and leaving the other parts of the upper body out for now. Is that the best way to go? Or is there another approach? I don't want to lose fitness in the upper body, but I don't need another injury either.

Gosh I sure think so!

With the crutches issue seems like your focus on wrist mobility, stretching your fingers and just stretching your muscles in general might be in order.
Here are some great ones:

The only other body part that doesn't get addressed very often is the forearms. The first three in this link are what I do and I do them seated

I hope you are doing well!!
