I did the workouts for a couple weeks and stopped. Wonder if they would work well with my thunderbell workouts which are quite short, 15 minutes for the main workout.

I may be interested in doing them again, sounds like there are some good transformations but I think that is coming from eating plan also.

Rhonda - yep, I think the eating plan is key. But I do think all the workouts are big calorie-blasters. For example, almost all the strength workouts use tons of compound muscle groups and lots of leg work, and those big muscle groups burn calories well. The workouts get a lot accomplished in a relatively short period of time.

I did ISO Speed Hammer today. I don't think I went heavy enough because I didn't feel super-worked once it was over. I thought that I would need to go lighter than usual given the slow reps. Oh well. Now I know for next time. I ended up adding on Lauren Brooks' Vol 1 12-minute afterward.

Also, the Marine in ISO Speed Hammer looked so familiar to me and I couldn't place her while I was doing the workout. But now I'm thinking that she's in one of the EBE2 workouts.

Would you say that this program is harder or easier than Cathe Xtrain and Cathe Rioped with HIIT? Thanks!

I saw you sold yours on VF Roost. Just wondering why didn't you like it? I just want to hear the negatives and positives alike... if you don't mind elaborate a bit.

hdw - I'm not shoegoddess, but here's your answer.

Yes my husband surprised me with a set unbeknownst to him I had bought it
He just ordered the base kit. I on the other hand ordered the Deluxe DVD and received it today. I'm going to do the Hammer workout tomorrow.

I should know better than to visit this forum (*cough * enabling). Would these Hammer & Chisel workouts be effective if done only 3 days a week (Mon/Wed/Fri). I realize I'm slacking, but that's the only time I allot to working out, which, in my opinion, is better than nothing. Currently, I mix up my 3 workouts with these: Mon=workout from Kettlebell kickboxing Body Series... Wed=workout from KbKScorcher 1, usually Power or Strength... Fri=Kelley Coffey Myer 30 minutes to fitness (either her kettlebell workout or the new strength & stamina). I workout in the morning & several nights I don't sleep well so it's a struggle just to get going; I usually skip over anything that has a sprawl or burpee. Sorry, I'm just tired. After work hours & weekends are spent cleaning or running errands.
