Pam you did a great job breaking these down
I'd never done - or even heard of - the surrender move before I bought this set. The first time it made me sore for days, but now I don't mind them. They only appear in the basic rotation one day out of the week and there are only two actual minutes of them in total (you do a minute of them in round one, rest 20 seconds, do side shuffles for a minute, rest 20 seconds, then do second set of surrenders for one minute and then you're done with surrenders until the next week!) The most dreaded exercises for me are the burpees & mountain climbers, but again, they only pop up once a week in the basic rotation, are only a small part of the 30 minutes, and thankfully there are modifications available. |

Honestly? When NMTZ came out in 2008 I could do Surrenders and didn't really mind them. Five, going on six, years later they absolutely kill my knees.
