Hi Thank You these are pretty.I am literally having to find new workouts that are not high impact anymore.I do not have a lot of workouts.I was doing a lot of Jillian Michaels.I am looking for more lower impact workouts to do.Yoga,Pilates and weight workouts.I have recently found out I have heart problems and high blood pressure. So I cannot do any more high impact workouts or HITT I really loved to do or long aerobic workouts anymore.

I applaud you for not giving up (and hopefully sticking to doctor's orders!). It is hard when you have to totally change your workouts. I had spinal surgery last Fall and I'm not allowed to lift heavy, do deadlifts, lift anything overhead, do any type of crunches/C moves or anymore high impact. I did mostly Cathe and some P90X before surgery as well as some jogging so it's been quite the blow to my world. I have high BP but that hasn't been an issue with my workouts. (Cutting back on salt has helped). Try to focus on what you can do and not what you can't. It's hard to do that at times, and some days I still almost grieve for my old workouts (a vidiot thing), but I try to stay positive and looking forward.

Hi Thank You very much.My blood pressure medicine is helping me out a lot.I just can't do high impact anything any more.I use to do Hitt and higher impact workouts too and I do really miss them also.I just can't do it anymore.I am very much out of breath.I am just looking for different DVDs to do now.Like yoga.Yoga is perfect for me.I have never done pilates before and I do do toning workouts still and I always walk.I cannot jog anymore and I really miss that.I am just trying to keep positive and find other low impact ways to workout.

Anything put out by Eoin Finn on DVD is filmed in beautiful outdoor settings. My very favorite is the Blissology set -- just did the side body (twists) practice today and loved it!

Tugger are all your limitations permanent? I think it's totally understandable you would feel some grief over missing old workouts. I would imagine the healing process would take awhile? In any event, way to go finding ways to carry on regardless!!

Suzanne, you can also do a search and find lots of great classical stretch workouts on YouTube.
Here's a bunch of mini workouts
