A great way to make Circuit Max even pukier (something that I luvvvvvvvvvvvv) is to substitute heavy barbell squats, plie squats and lunges for the compound upper / lower body circuits where Cathe & Crew use light dumbbells. I'll tell you what, Poindexter, this one will make you gasp and sweat - keep a towel and loaded water bottle handy - but/AND it will have you on an energy rush for days afterward! When I do it that way, I keep my barbell on my squat rack because I don't like hiking that heavy of a barbell up from the floor to over my shoulders 6 times.

I haven't done Circuit Max in ages! I have it in VHS. I don't remember it being a puke-in-a-bucket workout, but maybe I've blanked it out since it's been so long! I always thought the high step challenges were harder than Drill Max but I think it was because I was using a substitute for the high step (which I don't have) and it was probably TOO high. I think Bootcamp is the easiest of those mentioned, unless you count the circuit one in the shock cardio series.

I think Drill Max is harder, but Boot Camp is close, and Boot Camp is a lot more fun to me. For me Boot Camp is somehow more organized and everything fits together well. Also, you can do Boot Camp with just weights if you want to, but Drill Max requires more equipment and more equipment changes.

No one mentioned the Terminator DVD from the intensity series.

My goodness - now those workouts are killers!

Coincidentally, I ordered Drill Max last Thursday before this trade came up I think I'm going to like it
