It's incredibly accurate in terms of steps and distance.

Thanks for your replies.

Jessica, I am glad you like yours so much. Mine is arriving today. I will not wear it swimming, so I hope it will last much longer. I had a $100 rebate from ordering contact lenses that I converted into an Amazon gift card, and $25.00 from my Amazon Visa rewards, so I barely laid out any money for mine. I chose that one because you do not need a smart phone to use it. Most trackers need them even to set them up. I still have a basic flip phone, and I did not want to use my husband or son's phone. That would be a pain.

I think that once you get used to wearing it daily, it won't be quite as distracting as you might think. I wore a pedometer for years (and years) before finally switching to a Fitbit, so I'm not quite as obsessive about my numbers anymore. Fitbit does give me weekly reports, however, that I do pay attention to. I find the reports to be very motivating in making me try to do better.

I love mine! so comfortable to wear. Every time I need to get a new fitness tracker I always think I should try another brand but I just can't do it. It has everything I want. I hope you love yours as much. You will have to check in later and let us know!

Just in case other people reading this thread might find this information useful, I did not have a smart phone when I first got my Fitbit Charge 2. I used my laptop to set it up. About a year after I got the Fitbit, I got a smart phone and then set up the app after I figured out how to do that. Of course, I don't know anything about the other models--or newer ones. But the Charge 2 works fine without a phone.
