Your favorite fitness podcasts

Getting more into podcasts cause they are great to listen to while the granddaughter, whom we babysit, naps. Pop the ear buds in and listen to something and enjoy sitting lol. She's a toddler, need I say more lol.

Anyway, I really love fitness podcasts. I listen to Muscle for Life, Thick Thighs save Lives and just got into Pahla B's podcast as well

I need more! LOL What do you like to listen to?

I love Fitness Disrupted with Tom Holland. I also like Mind Pump (except they do swear and talk about their personal lives and other things as well), RAMP, and 40+ Fitness. I follow and have listened to others as well, but I don't remember them well enough to recommend.

I like American Glutton with Ethan Suplee. He talks about fitness and weight loss. It is nice to hear about weight loss from a man's perspective for a change. And he is very honest and real.

I am currently listening to an episode of Maintenance Phase about the Presidential Physical Fitness Test (for those who didn't grow up in the US, it's a set of exercises that most kids are subjected to and evaluated on about once a year in school, and it carried a lot of dread for many of us). It's really interesting to hear the history of how the program came to be and the larger question of what does "fitness" mean and how do you test for it.

I haven't heard any of the other episodes yet. The podcast series is relatively new and is done by one half of the You're Wrong About team, along with Aubrey Gordon, the author of What We Don't Talk About When We Talk About Fat. Their general purpose is to debunk wellness and d**t myths.

  1. Fitness Disrupted (thanks Vantreesta!)
  2. Redefining strength

I like both for the tips, encouragement and reasonable approach to a fitness lifestyle.

I am interested in following up on some of the others!

I already follow so many podcasts I shouldn't look at all of these but I'm gonna anyway! Thanks!

Oh, and I forgot to mention, Crunches & Cosmos is a podcast about doing home workouts! One episode I listened to she reviewed about four streaming services and hidden features in each.
