The Work

So I did 3 weeks of The Work Prep then decided to go for 6 weeks of The Work. I am in week 1 and modify, take extra rests when needed, push myself to MY limit and go my pace when they are going to fast and it is still so, so tough. It is WAY more advanced then The Work Prep. I love it though. I need a program to follow at this point in my life. I got behind a day this week but I just pick up where I left off. I also make sure to do a mobility workout or two each week (sometimes more).

I like the mobility workout of The Work Prep better than the shorter mobility workouts of The Work.

I think week 2 is going to be super tough as I remember week 2 of The Work Prep took it up a notch.

Though it is really challenging for me, the mobility work has helped my left shoulder and right inner knee a lot.

I love that the program incorporates agility, endurance, strength, and lateral movements. I feel the lateral movements are often neglected in other workouts/programs I have done.

Thanks for posting your thoughts. I'm very intrigued by the mobility work and may try some of it as a standalone.

Angela, it's great that you found a way to challenge yourself but still make sure to hit those other equally important, but often neglected, areas.

Soooo.....I think I may go back to the Work Prep and do the full 4 weeks....then MBF and MBFA....Then go back to The Work Prep to see if I can modify less. The Work is tough and I've missed 3 workouts do to my mom's health and work schedule. I can't decide if I finish week 1 or just start over with The Work Prep. In previewing, The Work, the workouts get so much more difficult. I just don't think I'm ready but #goals for 2021.
