I seem to get about 1000 steps (or maybe a little less) per 10 minutes of several of Jessica Smith's Walk On workouts. This is based on my step counts for several of the 30min workouts being anywhere from 2700-2900-ish*. Also, last night I did Jessica's 40min Mega Burn workout and got around 3950 steps I think. I think this is similar to my walking pace on the treadmill and how many steps I average on there per 10 min. And my treadmill pace is similar to my actual walking pace because I've recorded step counts for (flat) forest preserve walks too in the past.

I have these step counts recorded in my workout spreadsheet as well (I was recording steps during a certain time period but it got kind of tedious after awhile so I stopped):

Cathe Basic Step - 25min - 2900st
Cathe ICE Kickbox - 43min - 3300st
Amy Bento Hi/Lo Dome thru Combos 1&2 - 30min - 3100st
Kristin Dowell Dressed Up Drills - 49min - 3800-4700st
Kristin Dowell DUD+DUD Drills only (best dressed cardio premix) - 63m - 5700-6100st
Kristin Dowell Hi/Lo Recharge - 60min - 5800-6500st
Kathy Smith Power Step thru Sections 1&2 - 35min - 3200st
Kathy Smith Power Step - 50min - 4400-4700st
Kathy Smith Great Buns & Thighs thru Sections 1&2 - 35min - 2500st
Karen Voight Energy Sprint - 49min - 2600st (I think because there's that squat section where you're not stepping)

*Primarily the 30min Cardio Core Walk and 30min Low Impact HIIT walks from the 21-day set, the 30min Power Pyramid walk from Major Metabolism Booster, the 30min Fat Blaster from "3 Weight Loss Walks" and the 30min 2-mile Belly Fast Blast Interval walk from "Walk Off Belly Fat 5 Days a Week".

Today I did the Walk It Off With George (and Petra Kolber) Fat Blasting Walk and got 3,169 steps in 31 minutes. There is a lot of marching in this one but not super fast paced, although there are some faster intervals.

That is a lot of steps in a half hour!

I think it’s about average. I get about 1,500 steps in an average-paced Leslie mile.

This thread is making me wish I had a way to count my steps during my workouts...
