One of the many things I like and admire about Cathe is that she never comments about her backgrounders, she just leads the workout. Nor does she promise you will be hot, sexy, skinny, have tight buns, etc. if you do her workouts. Totally professional and always a class act.

I'm not really into the meditation aspect so I'll cut that out. I'm a little afraid that JNL may undo the good that UY does so we'll see. I may do my own warmup and do JNL first, I really want to use it more as a finisher than be the focus. I want to put my main focus into UY. I'm only planning on the eight week rotation with JNL so I'm not sure what I'll do as I finish out the full 108 days of UY. I'm considering Rushfit or Skogg but I'll get through the 8 weeks first.
Sounds good! I'm actually considering revisiting Skogg myself, based on recommendations from another thread.

I'm curious about the fake jump rope as I don't think I got one with my set (although I did get it when it first came out and paid way more than you guys are paying). I have a fake jump rope which I find to be wicked hard to use. But then I don't suppose the rope jumping is long in the JNL workouts? It's been so long I can't remember.

DDJ, the fake jump rope has no rope to jump over It's just the 2 handles with short little ropes (less than a foot on each side) with weights on the bottom, so when you swing the handles it definitely feels like a jump rope in your hands but no danger of tripping or getting tangled. I really like it, it's a fun toy

I can't wait to play with the little fake rope. I did a lot of rope jumping in Crossfit, and came home looking like a bad S&M experience lol.

I received my Amazon order of this today. I ordered the complete set, but received the basic set without bonus workouts and jump rope.
I contacted Amazon and they said there is nothing they can do since it is sold from an independent DVD seller (not the actual company who makes it) and only fulfilled by Amazon. So I can reorder and hope I get the correct item or keep the one I received.
Is the jump rope (and bonus workouts) worth it? Or should I just keep the basic set?

Cynthia, Does the stretch DVD use any equipment?

Yeah between that and bruises you get from box jumps gone wrong, burns from climbing ropes, and torn skin on the hands from all manner of lifting/pulling Cross fitters look like they have been through torture.

I caved.

I'm a sucker for gadgets and I love rotations.

Plus, the length of the workouts appealed to me, as I have a crazy work schedule and need shorter workouts. I am aware of the warm-up/cool down issue. That's fine because I've been doing Jari splits and I don't use her warmups and cool downs anyway.
