Rebounding - big trend for 2018

All day on the radio they keep mentioning that rebounding is the up and coming workout trend for 2018! They mentioned in gyms but that you can also buy these to use in your home. VFers have always been trendsetters. Not sure where the story came from but thought it was funny since it has been around for so many years.

That is kind of hilarious. I wonder if there's a high-profile gym or chain of gyms that have recently added rebounding.

Simone De LaRue (BBS) just came out with a rebounding workout and I heard it through the grapevine that Tracy Anderson has a new one coming out too. Not sure if this is part of why the upswing but I'll take it!

I think there must have been some sort of mainstream news article about it recently because the other day my husband saw something on reddit about how ten minutes of rebounding is better for you than a half hour of running.

Those trampoline playgrounds seem to be growing in popularity, there are two within reasonable driving distance of my home.

Maybe all that play time is inspiring everyone.

I googled and found a Fox News article from earlier this month. It lists top fitness trends for 2018 and includes rebounding.

It's a fitness conspiracy. The media endeavors to create the trends.

Well, I've been ahead of the wave for about 20 years now--I never stopped

When I first joined my gym back in 2004 Urban Rebounders were popular and they had classes. I don't know whatever happened to the rebounders. Probably sold them. But they are gone and haven't had any classes in years.

you beat my 18 years of rebounding!
but I did participate in real trampoline gymnastics when a teen over 50 years ago
and jumped on the bed all of the time including with a friend whose head met my nose when I was way younger.
Luckily his mom was a nurse so the blood did not scare her LOL
