Update on Tony Horton

Betsy's update on Bob Harper made me wonder how Tony is doing. (Yeah, I've griped that he was rude to me, but I don't like to see the guy suffer.)

Great video. I was absolutely horrified when I found out about Tony's diagnosis of Ramsay Hunt Syndrome. It clearly was incredibly painful and debilitating and I'm really sorry he's still not 100%.

He sounded in great spirits in the video and he's right about goals--write 'em down!

I love Tony - it just goes to show that you can be the fittest person around - sometimes life just throws a wrench into the works.
Hoping he'll get over this soon. And Bob too!

I haven't read anywhere if Tony had had the Shingles vaccination or not. That would be something helpful to know.

I'm guessing that Tony is just young enough to not have it recommended.

My FIL had the vaccine two years ago and ended up with shingles anyway.

I've read that there is a new Shingles vaccine, Shingrix. It's supposed to be 90% effective, where the older vaccine, Zostavax, is only 50% effective.
