Beachbody e-mail addresses and customer names stolen
There was a massive breach of the computer systems that handle the data for many companies (Epsilon), and so far, they are saying that e-mail addresses, customer names, and some other customer data, was stolen. Beachbody was listed as one of the companies, along with JP Morgan Chase, Citi, Target, Best Buy, Walgreen's, HSN, and many others. People are just beginning to receive e-mail notices from these companies, and there will likely be more companies added to the list.
Here is an article. I have changed all my passwords at all of the companies' websites at which I was registered, and just to be safe, I changed all of my bank account passwords, too. I have a feeling that there was more information stolen than they are telling the public, because they know that there will be massive hysteria if they say that more than your name and e-mail address was stolen. Please be careful about all e-mails you receive, and do not click on any link in an e-mail; go directly to that company's website by typing it in yourself. |
