My little guy's mouth is too small to grab the remote. If his mouth were any bigger, and he's probably haul it off several times a day.

To get back on topic:

I did some online dating about 10 years ago. I met a very nice man who lived in Tennessee. I visited him in TN twice--he paid for my airfare. He was a perfect gentleman both times. It was very clear, however, that we were not well matched. Since then I've had no desire to do any more online dating.

One would think a general dating rule of thumb, whether online or in person, is:

If they fall deeply in love with you in a matter of weeks

and/or

ask for money...

IT'S A SCAM!!!

I don’t understand how someone can believe someone who says they love you when you’ve never even met in person.

Scammers don't worry me. I have good instincts but, more importantly, NO MONEY!

If you have no money, they find other ways to scam you. They might ask you to open an account for them to transfer funds into (aka money laundering). Or, send you a package and ask you to deliver it to another address (aka drug trafficking).

Some victims have ended up in jail for innocently doing these "favors" for their internet beloved.

Not being mean but how are so many people so dumb???? My goodness, someone wants to know if they are chatting with Leonardo DiCaprio???? I mean, seriously??? Would he be online trying to get gift cards from someone?? Good grief! It's obvious these scammers prey on the desperate and pathetic. I have long heard of these stories but actually wondering if Mr. DiCaprio. WOW!! There are so many red flags and yet people are still asking if these are scams even when they say, yes I know this is not right but should I just sent the money?? I have no sympathy for these people. Just like on Catfish, talking to someone for years, never seen them or met them but they are going to get married. I can see how the scammers can have a field day with these folks.

No worries----if lack of finances won't get the job done then I can always fall back on my apathy and indifference
