RIP Firm Step
I bought a 12" Firm Step about 20 years ago. I haven't used in years except as a step stool. It is now officially dead, another victim of Hurricane Harvey. It served as an indicator as to how high the water was in my apartment (almost up to the platform portion of the step).

I'm just glad that I didn't have it as bad as so many people. I feel bad for those people that had to be evacuated and probably have lost everything. As I was lying (laying?) in bed watching the water rising in my bedroom, I realized I have way too much crap and need to get rid of a lot of it. In a way, this storm has been a blessing for me.

Praying for you. Our church is sending a team of men down to help tomorrow. It really has been far reaching and emotional for so many. Take care of yourself and keep us posted on how you're doing.
