Ellen Barrett Four Elements Flow!!!!!!

Ok, I decided to give Ellen another try and did her Four Elements Flow workout. It is THE best Ellen workout I have ever done!!!! It was a beautiful flow and surprising sneaky! It seemed so easy and laid back but I ended up covered in sweat. I love that there was a modifier who really modified every move so I ended up protecting my back! Really cool workout and my new favorite!!! What is your favorite Ellen Barrett streaming workout (from her new stuff)? I also love Moving Meditation!

I recently resubscribed and I loved it too! I took a year off from her stuff and now I can't stop doing her newer workouts that I missed.

Serene Strength at only 20 mins was really great and I was surprisingly sore the next day. My older favs are Lifted and Lean and Moving for Beauty, and Total Body Tune Up. Tomorrow I'm giving Fat Burning Fusion 2 a whirl.

Loving having a real modifier!

I am loving this one too! There are only a few of the streaming only workouts I don't like.

Sometimes I string a few of the shorter ones together for good variety. One combination I liked was Core Cardio, Quick Fix and Pilates Mix.

There are some I felt were way too easy, then have ended up needing something exactly like that for various reasons.

I also love Fat Burning Fusion Two. I know some here did not. Until I started streaming Ellen, I had only done two of her workouts, so I didn't compare this to the first Fat Burning Fusion.

Pilates Strong and Power and Balance are favorites also.

I'd like to know too. I need to get another TV and am looking at a small budget smart TV (in case we ever get internet that can handle some streaming). But of course the question is, which one? Roku seems popular and I know EssentricsTV works on it... Ellen is the other one I could see wanting to stream in the future.

Nope. But, it’s an easy go around. If you have a smart tv and an iPhone you can airplay or log onto her website from your smart tv via the internet app and play videos on your tv from her website. It sounds more complicated than it is! I’m not a tech person and even I could figure it out. It just sounds complicated! If you don’t have a smart tv, I believe you can buy a fire stick to access internet app from tv and then just play videos on your tv. I think fire stick will also allow you to play YouTube videos on your tv.

Nice! I tried her and cancelled because the floor work hurt my back and even some of the standing work with her scoops to the floor. But, I am learning modifications this time around and this Four Element Flow had a true modifier present which was helpful as I learn how to make adjustments.

i would love to stream, but i have so many virgin DVDs that i need to honestly get through.

what moves does Four Element Flow have in it? i have practically every DVD that Ellen has ever made except the Shine Bright DVD/CD set. I even have the one she did for Body for Life with Pamela Peeke.

I think I read somewhere that she said this one was very unique from other things she has done. It has standing yoga but it’s flowy not static with a lot of movement throughout. There is a relaxing, meditation type feel during the workout with standing Pilates and fusion moves. There are lots of squats and lunges but they were easy to modify. This was the best true modifier I have ever seen during a workout. Note- this workout is sneaky, sneaky as Jessica Smith likes to say. It’s non stop flowing movement. Ellen mixes the elements of Earth, Air, Fire, and Water into a total flow. Fire moves made heat, water moves gently flowed, earth moves were grounding and air moves made you feel light and required deep breathing. I want to say her streaming is under $6 a month too and there is a trial. I feel like from past comments that I read, her new stuff is easier than the old stuff so there is a nice mix on there! I made the mistake of doing her older stuff first and my back couldn’t handle it. But, I’m really glad that I gave her a second chance!!!!
