Thumbs up Garrie, your blog inspired me...

I visited your blog the other day and read your review of Cathe's Maximum Intensity Strength (MIS).

http://confessionsofamalevidiot.blog...-strength.html

I haven't done that one in probably 15 years. I decided to do the warm-up (the only Cathe step routine that I actually was able to learn with relative ease!) and the upper body section.

I enjoyed it so much that I plan to add it to my list of upper body routines that run a half hour or so.

Thank for re-visiting older workouts!

I've been thinking recently that some of Cathe's old work-outs would be comforting right now and MIS and S&H (Slow & Heavy) are two that keep calling my name.

Good review, Garrie. Two thumbs up!

***OLD THREAD ALERT***

Oh my gosh, how the (bleep) did I not see this thread? My blogging has taken a back seat these past few weeks. I seriously need to get back into it.

Thanks, Alta and Cyana!

Garrie, your reviews are fantastic!

The two you wrote on the Marcus Irwin step workouts echo my sentiments exactly (but are written 20X more eloquently than I ever could)!

Keep it up. I look forward to reading more!

I love the upper body strength segment of MIS and still use it every couple of months when I need a solid workout done in <35 mins!

P.S. Just read Garrie's excellent review of MIS -- and now that I've finally conquered my step aerobics fears and my knees haven't been feeling to wonky (fingers crossed it stays that way), I may finally do MIS in full! Maybe this Sunday...

Cool, thanks VV I subscribed to Garrie's blog.

I'll add some workout reviews to my own blog instead of just spiritual new age musings.

I haven’t done MIS upper body in years. I remember it being really long. Isn’t that the one where you wrap the towel around the barbell to work lats? I remember doing it 3X a week when I had my “trainer.”
