I really like the vanilla naked whey. It's very slightly sweetened with coconut sugar. It's kind of expensive but it's a huge container. It's really delicious and no artificial anything.

I like Organic Valley Organic Fuel vanilla shakes. They are ready to drink. I think they are expensive BUT I combine coupons with buy one get one free sales and it ends up more affordable.

My favorite brand....I love the vanilla flavor, mixed with frozen banana, milk, cinnamon, peanut butter and spinach. Tastes like a milkshake, my 5 year old loves it!

I like SunWarrior. Vegan pea protein sweetened with stevia, no dairy or soy, blends easily. Only downside is its olive-green tint, which makes for some interestingly-colored smoothies if I put in a lot of berries.

My favourite is Vega All-in-One Nutritional Shake too. I like the natural flavour.

BiPro USA - whey isolate... this is a protein shake that Chris Freytag happens to endorse. I like the unflavored the best... you can even mix it in water with no taste. Does not affect any of your smoothie flavors at all. Great for baking, too. https://www.biprousa.com/ I usually buy when there is a coupon, free shipping or use a coupon from the back of one of their recipe books.

Currently trying out Eat the Bear Grass-Fed Whey protein in chocolate. It's good and I don't have to mix in cocoa to get a chocolate flavor. https://etbfit.com/ I picked up a sample packet at Academy Sports recently and then wished I had bought a canister. They had a special on during the super bowl for 30% off so I snagged two canisters.

I have also recently tried Vega Protein and Greens in Chocolate. Target currently has samples in the store in the temporary seasonal area... the packets have a $3 off coupon on them (!), so if you like it you can use the coupon. Look closely on the back of the packet, top right corner.

A couple of Cathe RT buddies like Naked Whey. I have not tried it. https://nkdnutrition.com/products/gr...protein-powder

There are several others I have tried... I usually splurge on a sample packet first. Yes they're expensive per serving, but sure beats spending $$ and being unhappy. Most places will accept an opened bottle as a return, but I just can't bring myself to do that.

I'm with Cheri, I switched more toward almond and peanut butter, cashews, chia seeds and hemp seeds for protein. Greek yogurt if you use dairy.

If you do not have a Barre3 subscription, they get a lot of their recipes from the blog Dishing Up the Dirt; here are a bunch of all natural smoothies.

Another good protein source if you prefer a lower fat option is PB2 or other organic non-fat peanut powders.

Jay Robb and Quest were my favorite brands in the past.

Nowadays, I do prefer homemade smoothies without protein powder; I concur that the ones from Barre3 are truly delicious and good for you. I also love the green smoothies from Simple Green Smoothies (they do have a book, but you can find many recipes on their website or by following them on Facebook).

I don't have a subscription anymore, Pat, and can still find lots of recipes there. That is a recent change.
