Is there a particular time of year that this package is on sale? I know it's normally at $149.99 but I would love to get it cheaper and am wondering if there's any time of year when it's sold for about $100?

I have never seen any MELT materials discounted. However, I use my MELT roller nearly everyday, so for me, it's been a very worthwhile purchase!
