Jillian Michaels Body Shred

I have had this set for a long time and haven’t tried the workouts yet. I did her Body Revolution few years ago and brought this as a follow up but then I had a baby so never got around doing it. I’m not in that good of a shape right now I would say I am more intermediate. I am also not very flexible like that wheel pose push ups in Body Revolution I will probably never be able to do. I can do some pushups on my toes and definitely have to modify Cathes advanced workouts. Should I attempt to do this set? I don’t mind modifying a little but if I have to modify most of the workout it wouldn’t make sense. Any opinions? Thanks!

I'm intermediate and I'm going to try it

Some of the Body Shred workouts are on Dailymotion. You could preview them to get an idea of the level of the workouts and if you will need to modify much. I have done both and the Body Shred workouts are much more advanced than Body Revolution. For Body Shred you will have to think of your own modification because most of the exercisers are working the advanced level.

I tried the second workout in the set and Jillian kicked my butt. She does a lot of moves using your body weight which is an area of weakness for me. This set might be discouraging if you are just getting back into things.

Not for some time. I did a 30 day rotation with her a month ago and I'm not ready to go back yet

When I got this set I just did a rotation with workouts 1-4 and was just happy hanging at that level and modifying as needed. Nothing wrong with that IMO, still a tough bunch of workouts!
