For anyone interested in trying the workout without reading the whole old-fashioned book, some folks summarized the exercises and the six week program and posted it online.

Very interesting! Thanks for posting. I've looked up the programs.
They remind me a bit of "5BX," an 11-minute fitness program promoted by the Royal Canadian Air Force. My father-in-law swore by it... ETA link to program PDF
