Thanks for this - I've been having a crazy stressful day and this really put a smile on my face - we need more geeky fitness humour around here!

And thank you Jane for posting this. I love the idea of the five tibetans, but don't seem to connect with them. This looks way more my style - perhaps I'll give it a try!

For anyone interested in trying the workout without reading the whole old-fashioned book, some folks summarized the exercises and the six week program and posted it online.

And for people who want to read the book but, like me, don't like books in html format:

My System:

My Breathing System:
http://ia600303.us.archive.org/17/it...J.P.Muller.pdf

I also managed to find My System for Ladies:
http://ia600605.us.archive.org/28/it...rladie00ml.pdf

He also wrote a "My System for Children" apparently, but I wasn't able to find a copy of that. I didn't look that hard, though.

Very interesting! Thanks for posting. I've looked up the programs.

They remind me a bit of "5BX," an 11-minute fitness program promoted by the Royal Canadian Air Force. My father-in-law swore by it...

I was reminded of Joel Harper's routines a little, but also of Stacey Lei Krauss' Willpower and Grace.

Thanks everyone, that was interesting. I laughed at his many references to personal hygiene .

I watched the video & scanned through the book--thanks for posting! Reminded me of Cindy Crawford's workouts with Radu.

Hey! I've got that one! (Or, well, whichever version my dad had, the cover's different but the insides look pretty much identical.) Even did the rotation when I was younger.

ETA: I looked on Amazon, and the one I have has both 5BX (for men) and XBX (for women). (and wow, look at the prices, LOL!)
