100 year old fitness routine used by Kafka, some still do it

Check this out. The routine looks interesting, and only takes 15 minutes.

That was interesting, Jane. I wish I could be committed enough to do a daily 15-minute routine like this or the Five Tibetans. The woman's background suggests she's not exactly a couch potato, either.

Does this remind anyone else of T-Tapp's Basic Workout?

And I saw a Joel Harper short basic workout with the Dr. Oz program . . .

Interesting, indeed. There's a book available at Amazon based on Muller's plan. I like the idea but I'm afraid I've gotten spoiled by all the variety available.

Wow, that was fascinating! I'd love to learn more about this system and its creation/history.
I was reminded of Joel Harper's routines a little, but also of Stacey Lei Krauss' Willpower and Grace.

No need to shop. His books are in the public domain. Here are three: My System, My Breathing System and My System for Ladies: http://www.sandowplus.co.uk/Competit...ler.htm#system
(ETA - sorry the Ladies one is not clickable.)

Interesting! Some of the moves look like Kundalini, and others are identical to Oscar Ichazo's Psychocalisthenics.

Lindsay Wagner made a Psychocalisthenics instructional and follow-along workout video years ago that I still use to this day. Like Kafka's workout, Psychocalisthenics (commonly called P-Cal) is only 15 minutes long. It's like a super-condensed yoga/calisthenics workout that is very energizing and complete. I love it.

Ahh! Exercise program used by Kafka? So the original 'Metamorphosis'! (Sorry, couldn't resist! My apologies to Tracy!)

Actually this looks interesting. I may look at some of the original texts.
