Today I did Arm Toning and Strength - Dumbbells Only Workout from Heather. I've lost some ability on the triceps pushups but hoping to rebuild it.

We went to the movie theater for the first time in Portugal, and the first time since the pandemic, in fact. We saw the new Top Gun. I really enjoyed it, but I also really liked the first one at the time. The theater had very comfortable, wide seats. They subtitle the movies in Portuguese but leave the audio in its original English, so it's easy for us to enjoy.

Cynthia, I know what you mean about the house getting hot. As it gets more to summer I really need to do my workouts early. Hoping I can fit in the living room with the piano once it arrives.

Diana, glad you have found meds that work well! I hope you can get them covered better by insurance.

Check-in: lap swim.

Update on the air fryer: returned to Target. I had never taken it out of the box. Today I checked the air fryer chapter of the Skinnytaste cookbook. Way too labor-intensive, complictaed, much fancier than what I like to eat. So, adieu.

I didn't fit in well with the eating plan of the 17 day diet. I don't think that dairy, gluten, and modest amounts of sugar need to be banished. I did try a few suggestions, and this is a keeper: chickpea pasta. Regular supermarkets have it around here. I used it for dinner last night instead of whole wheat rotini and it was surprisingly good. DD said she likes it better than whole wheat. I may have mentioned Denise Austin's Tone You Tummy Type book. Goat cheese pasta with broccoli and bell pepper, recipe from that book, was for dinner last night.

Good Morning, Everyone!

I decided not to post last night. I was tired and had an opportunity to go to bed early, so that's what I did. LOL

Steps from yesterday: 5,766

Have a Blessed day and stay safe and healthy.

Diana, enough sleep is good for you, and as important as nutrition and exercise.

Second Brahms concert is tomorrow afternoon, with dress rehearsal this afternoon. Will keep non-vocal exercise non-strenuous.

Back later.

Diana, I value good sleep more and more all the time!

Over the weekend I didn't have time to work out. A plumber came in the morning, so that day was gone. I did walk a good amount.

Today I did Heather's Leg Strength Day for Lean Legs. I also got plenty of walking.

I have been very tired and sleeping longer, so maybe that's just getting over covid. Not sure. Could be hormones, allergies, anything. Our bodies are so complicated.

Cynthia, I hope the concerts are going well! I also prefer not to cook too complicated for everyday life.

Thanks all, the concert went very well. We were accompanied by a pipe organ this time. The earlier performance had an orchestra. It was good to end the season that well. Now I'm glad to relax. Concert prep is like being in training for an event.

Cheryl, my guess is your fatigue is due to recovering from covid. I sure wasn't full of energy as soon as I tested negative afterward. Just go for as much rest/sleep as you can.

Check-in: lap swim.
