Beth I can't even imagine what doing yoga in there was like. They didn't offer it in Prov, unfortunately. Maybe stopping for lunch would have helped. Immediately driving back in I-95 traffic was a real shock to the brain after all the wonder.

Exhale Core Fusion Body Sculpt (Gluteus Sculpt; Thigh Sculpt)
Lastics "Feel the Rush practice"

The Thigh Sculpt workout was more difficult this morning--I was shaking!

Sandra, Jane Adams "Lying Poses For Flexibility" is my favorite practice on her Yoga For Beginners DVD.

Pat, I'm glad you enjoyed the Van Gogh exhibit.

Decided to do mostly just yoga for my workout today. I found this interesting YouTube channel called yoga with Himanshu Gairola. He had an Iyengar-based chair yoga practice that I wanted to try, but because that one started right in the middle (with boat pose! ), I did another one of his practices first, "Yoga for Belly Fat Reduse."

Todays workouts:
~ETV: Sahra’s live day 20 of her posture series
~Strength circuit day 2
~Kate Vantucci Yoga (YT): Closing Time - This was lovely and stretchy, had a yin-ish feel but holds not quite long enough to be true yin.

Pat - Glad you enjoyed the Van Gogh exhibit! Those chicks sure are getting big, so cool to watch them grow!

Waves to all!

Pam, I saw that Kate posted that new one; I will have to try it! I have several of hers to catch up, but yesterday, I chose one of her all core routines and enjoyed it:

Hi!

Today's Workout: A lower body mish-mosh! I did the lower body section from Margaret Richard's Getting Better, but added in the Fetal Thighs segment of Mari Winsor's Buns & Thighs (done from memory), plus various exercises from Lower Body Solution and the Bob & Brad routine I did on Monday. I'm trying to identify those exercises that seem to be most effective and helpful to me. I finished with my own lower body stretches.

Beth: Thanks for the knee link! I'm off to read it....

Waving to all!

Beth - I’ll have to try that core routine, thanks for the link! I think you’ll like Closing Time, it felt really good!

Sandra - I like doing my own stretch routine as I usually know what I need. I’m trying to add in more formal practices to add some variety, but very often I revert back to doing my own thing.

Good morning all! Happy Thursday.

Yesterday was pretty scant, other than a mindset shift. I'm bailing on LWR's May challenge, too. I'll just play around with her new classes as they come out. I have new Bellyfits to try and my Ellen subscription. What I really need to focus on is strength! Anyway I accomplished:

~ Ellen's Ballet Sculpt with Weights
~ My own yin to open spine
~ 3,194 steps

Pam, how cool that Alice B. will be filming for Daily Om again! I hope it will be more quickies.

Sandra, that sounds like a killer LB workout.

Good morning to Paine, Beth, Cyana and anyone who visits today.
