But what I could never understand is the difference in the $300 ones vs the $3000 ones. Most of the research was done at the 30 hz range, and the cheap ones will do that. I actually bought a cheap one and have been using it for about a year. I won't know any results until my next Dexascan which is due around March. If I don't get any results, and Ann does, I'll spring for the pricey one. So please, keep up updated Ann!
So do you just stand on it for x minutes or do other exercises on it?

Personally, I just stand on it and listen to an audiobook for ten minutes. In the study review, some did exercises and others didn't.

Nancy, would you share the brand vibration machine you bought? (Or send me a PM).

The one I bought is from VT Vibration Therapeutics, model VT003F

Here's an Amazon link to it:

I see that I bought it in March of 2021, so fairly soon after my osteoporosis diagnosis. Time flies!

I've been using my Marodyne LiV for less than six months, so not long enough to see measureable results yet.

I've been following Dr. Doug Lucas (orthopedic doctor) on youtube. He focuses on research-backed information about bone health. I find his info useful. He did a video on vibration therapy here. I didn't listen to it all but it may be useful for some of you interested in this modality.

I was reading the "Warnings" for one of the vibration machines. It is contraindicated if someone has joint injuries. Also, some eye issues. It can cause retinal detachment if you have retinal issues.

So, it's a no-go for me.
